Get a senior developer's review of your app.
A senior developer reads all of your code, with AI to help. Every finding is checked before it reaches you.

Who it is for
You built something. Now it has to hold up for other people.
Maybe you wrote it with AI, maybe fast, maybe both. Before the next step, you want a senior developer to read all of it, and to say what to fix, what is fine, and what can wait.
The next step is usually one of these:
- launching to paying users
- raising money
- handing it to a developer
- a customer's security review
- fixing something that's broken
Code written with AI is welcome. The review reads what the code does, not who wrote it.
It is not a chatbot's opinion of your repo, and it is not a favor from a friend who codes. A senior developer reviews all of it, and each finding comes with the evidence behind it.
Not for you if you want a pass/fail stamp. We do not give one.
How it works
Connect a repository.
Sign in with GitHub, then install the TerminalHire App for the repositories you choose. GitHub shows its permissions before you approve.
See your price.
To price it, we read your file list and your package.json files. Nothing is cloned and nothing runs. You get an itemized quote: a base price for the size of the app, plus the areas that add to it, each with what we found in your repo.
Tell us what's next.
A few short questions. What does your app do, and who uses it today? What's coming up next? What worries you most about the code right now? Your answers set the first page of the report.

Each fix is written up as a task with a recommended price. Post the ones you want on TerminalHire, change the prices, or fix them yourself.

Pricing
Priced by the size of your app.
We count lines of app code. Tests, build output, generated files and vendored code never raise the price.
| App code | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 15,000 lines | $299 |
| Up to 60,000 lines | $499 |
| Up to 150,000 lines | $999 |
| Up to 300,000 lines | $1,999 |
Over 300,000 lines: request a price from your quote and book a call. A senior developer will talk through the scope with you and send a fixed price.
Your whole codebase is reviewed. These are the areas that add to the price.
| Area | Adds |
|---|---|
| Payments, including checkout and refunds | $75 |
| Database, including access rules and migrations | $75 |
| Login, including sign-in and access rules | $50 |
| File storage, including upload rules and public access | $50 |
| Outside services, including webhook checks and failure handling | $50 |
| AI, including key exposure and usage limits | $50 |
| Extra apps, each one reviewed | $100 per extra app |
Each area on your quote shows what we found in your repo, down to the package name. A Supabase or Firebase client is listed and not charged. Extra apps are counted from the package.json files below your repository root; the first is in the base price.

You pay when you order. Prices in USD. Promotion codes are accepted at checkout.
The credit
Half your audit fee comes back as credit.
Post fix tasks on TerminalHire within 30 days of your report, and half of what you paid comes off them, up to that amount. A $499 audit gives you up to $249.50 off.
Credit is counted after any discount code. Unused credit expires. It is not cash and cannot be transferred.
What we will not say
We will not tell you your app is safe to ship. An audit is not a guarantee that your code is free of defects or vulnerabilities. We do not certify or approve your software.
What we do: show you what we found, each finding with the evidence behind it, and tell you what we found fine. You decide what to fix and who fixes it.
The audit changes nothing in your repository. It covers the commit we reviewed and not changes made after it.
If we missed a problem that falls inside the audit and was plainly visible in that commit, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We re-review that area at no charge. If we can't, we refund the audit fee.
FAQ
What happens to my code?
A developer working for Staqs reads it, under a confidentiality agreement with Staqs. We use your code only to do your audit and any fix tasks you post. We do not publish it, share it or sell it. Our access ends when we deliver the report, and you can remove it any time from your GitHub settings. We delete our copies within 7 days of delivery and keep the report.
Does AI read my code?
Yes, to help the developer. Our developers use AI tools only under settings that do not allow your code to be used to train AI models. Every finding is checked by the developer before it reaches you.
How do you count lines?
From the sizes of your source files, as an estimate of app code. Tests, build output, generated files and vendored code are left out. Your quote shows the count as "about N lines of app code". If it looks wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
Which commit do you review?
The quote and the audit are pinned to one commit: the head of your default branch when you order. Your confirmation email names it. Changes after that commit are not covered.
When do I pay, and what if something goes wrong?
You pay when you order. If we can't deliver the report, we refund you in full. Refunds after delivery are at our discretion, and the re-review rule above applies for 30 days.
Do I have to post the fixes on TerminalHire?
No. Post the ones you want, change the prices, or fix them yourself. The credit applies only to fix tasks you post within 30 days of the report.
How long does it take?
We don't publish a turnaround yet. We email you when your report is ready. If there is something you want looked at first, email eric@staqs.io.
