how much of your work has someone else merged?

Most counts of your GitHub activity include everything you merged into your own repositories. This one throws all of that away. It counts pull requests that other people’s projects accepted — repositories you do not own and do not publicly belong to — and it shows you every single one.

• ❯ We ask GitHub for read:user and nothing else. We never request access to private repositories, and there is no step later where we do.
• ❯ Merges into your own repositories, into organisations you publicly belong to, and title-only changes are all dropped before anything is counted. That is the whole point of the number. We can only see public membership, so an organisation you belong to privately can still slip through.
• ❯ Every row links to the pull request it came from, so you can check the count rather than trust it.
• ❯ Nothing is published. What comes back is yours to look at, and putting any of it on a public page is a separate choice you make afterwards.
